Warri, Missionary Newspaper- All is set for the priestly ordination of six deacons who have successfully completed their priestly formation in the Major Seminary into the revered Catholic priesthood on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In a statement made available to Missionary Newspaper by Rev. Fr. Dr. Benedict Ukutegbe, director of social communications in Warri diocese, the ordination will hold at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Warri, in Delta
State at 10:00am.
The statement added that, Most Rev. John Oke’Oghene Afareha, Catholic Bishop of Warri Diocese who also is the ordaining prelate, will preside at the ordination Mass.
It further revealed that priests, from within and outside the diocese, family members, friends of the ordinands, well wishers and Catholic faithful will grace the ceremony.
