By Godwin Utuedoye,
The Catholic women organisation CWO, St Paul’s Parish Enerhen on Sunday, April 28, 2019 had her maiden investiture of patrons and patronesses for the organisation in the parish.
The investiture ceremony which attracted dignitaries from within and outside the parish during the 8:30:am mass was also used to launch an seater bus as well as the unveiling of the bye-laws for the organisation.
In an interview, the CWO president in the parish disclosed that the reason for the investiture of patrons and Patronesses is for the organisation to have pillars of support morally and financially as well as spiritually.
Speaking further, the women leader in the parish noted that the group, through the successful investiture, has become firm and that with the help of God, they will excel.
Adding that the rationale behind the launching of the bus was to ease their evangelical movement and to easily attend other diocesan functions such as meetings, seminars/conferences and other engagements and therefore solicit the support of all spirited individuals and groups to generously fund the project.
She also revealed that the purchase of the bus will also reduce the burden of incessant contributions of different levies especially when the economy is so imbalance.
Appreciating the parish priest, Very. Rev. Fr. Clement Abobo for his fatherly cares, support and prayers toward the organisation, she said without his corporation, love and guidance, it wouldn’t have been easy. She also extended her heartfelt appreciation to the men for supporting all their projects generously.
