Bishop John Oke Afareha Pays Pastoral Visit to St. Patrick Parish Ellu, Blesses and Opens Our Lady Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Ellu which is an Out Station to St. Patrick Parish Ellu. The Church was built and donated by Mr. & Mrs. Felix Udueme and family of the Anglican Communion. The bishop during the homily congratulated and appreciated the parish Priest Rev. Fr. Paul Orovwigho together with the Catholic community of Ellu Kingdom. He specially thanked and asked God to bless the family of Mr. & Mrs. Udueme; the innovator and philanthropist. The bishop asked God to bless him for giving this beautiful church where the people of God will worship him in truth and in spirit by offering Sacrifices of praise to God.

While reflecting on the gospel of the day, the bishop urged and admonished all present to always be sensitive to needs of their community and give generously without boundaries, colour, tribe or faith. He further urged all that anyone who gave a cup of cold water to a prophet will always receive a prophet’s reward as he asked God to bless the Udueme family.
