Preparation are on top gear by the Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria CYON, Warri Diocese to celebrate the International Day of the Africa Child.
According to a statement made available to the Diocesan Newspaper The Missionary, by the Diocesan President of the youth, Bro. Sabastian Ishioma Ekezeh, the event with the theme; “Leave No Child Behind In Africa’s Development”, will hold on Thursday, June 14, 2018 by 8:00am.
The statement further adds that the youths will embark on a school out reach with a visit to Mixed Secondary School Kokori in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The statement reveals that books, uniforms, writing and other learning materials will be presented to the students as part of efforts to contribute to the training of the African child.
