LENTEN REFLECTION ON RADIO
The season of Lent this year begins on Feb. 10, 2016 and terminates with the Easter celebration on March 27th, 2016.
As usual, the Catholic Diocese of Warri through the Directorate of Social Communications embarks on the proclamation of the word of God on Radio from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. An array of seasoned priests of our Diocese will break open the word of God on Delta Radio 88.6 MELODY FM at 8:00am everyday. This notable task is cost intensive.
We, hereby, call on you to partner with us in spreading the Gospel of Salvation in response to the mandate of Christ “Go into the whole world and preach the gospel to every creature ” (Mark 16:15).
You can sponsor a day for #10,000.00 or half a day for #5000.00. You may also choose to sponsor more than a day or make a Lenten Donation of any amount you can afford in support of this work of evangelization. Jesus guaranteed that you will be rewarded a hundred fold. God bless you.
